Clonmellon Streetscape Painting Scheme

Clonmellon Community Council/Clonmellon Steering Group are seeking tenders for a streetscape painting scheme on Main Street Clonmellon, Co Westmeath. There is a total of approximately 24 buildings to be painted and 2 for power-wash and fungicidal treatment. Photographs of the buildings included are below. Some of the building are vacant, but a number are currently occupied homes/businesses. It is preferable for the works to commence as soon as possible, and all works must be completed within 2021 Tenderers are advised to undertake a site visit to view the scope of works before submitting a tender. A member of the Committee can meet you if required. This project is funded under the Town & Village Renewal Scheme by the Department of Rural & Community Development and there is a fixed budget for these works. Scope of works Buildings 1. All buildings detailed below shall be power washed, apply fungicidal spray. 2. Remove redundant cables and tie back any remaining loose cables. 3. Prepare all surfaces and apply stabilising solution where required 4. Apply 2 coats of Dulux exterior paint - or equivalent approved 5. Masonry only (walls ,trimmings, sills) no doors or windows included.
