Award of UoD-ITS018-TC-2020-NE Networking Project

Tender description

The University of Dundee (UoD) requirement is for the supply of Network Services as detailed in the documentation provided. This is a mini-competition undertaken in accordance with the North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium (NEUPC) HE Networking – Supply and Services Framework Agreement (HENSS), Framework Ref ITS2004NE (Lot 3 – Large Networking Projects – In excess of £1 million in value). UoD wishes to secure a multi-year contract with an organisation that can deliver a range of pre-priced services from an agreed rate card, services required include; Design, Project Planning/Management, Migration, Deployment, Testing. The successful supplier will also be engaged by UoD to deliver their Network Operation Support services which will include proactive and reactive 2nd and 3rd line support for the entire network with agreed SLA and network monitoring. It is also desirable that the supplier can extend that support/monitoring service to other elements of the infrastructure, for example monitoring and management of UoD Servers/Storage and cloud platforms. UoD has identified a number of areas within the current network that will require replacing/upgrading/renewing during Contract Period.
