19EAS003 Relocation of Portacabins, Annan

Tender description

Relocation of Portacabins from Stapleton Road to Annan Cemetery. There are two sites associated with this project. The first site is where the existing portacabins are located and this is Community Services, Former Burgh Yard, Stapleton Road, Annan DG12 6JP. The second site is where the portacabins are being relocated to and this is the old tree nursery at Annan Cemetery, Annan (Nearest postcode is DG12 5PB for Cemetery Lodge). Annan Cemetery - Strip topsoil and all vegetable matter from site footprint approx 400m2(average depth 300mm) and form spoil heaps in agreed location on site. Regrade solum to receive 300mm type 1 hardcore base. Construct new pad foundations and external condenser bases as indicated on drawings. Provide new foul and surface water drainage as indicated on drawings including waste treatment plant and soakaways. Assist with installation of statutory utilities including electricity, water, telephone and broadband services. Deliver and erect portacabins in new location and make good existing roof and wall links to provide watertight seal. Install, test, commission and demonstrate PV solar panels including reorientation to maximise energy collection. Install, test and commission 4No external condensers. Make good internal finishes between existing portacabins. Clean portacabins internally and externally. Form new steps and ramps as indicated on drawings. Construct new car parking area and external works as shown on plans and form accessible parking space. Locate existing 6m long container. Reinstate existing furniture, equipment and any other items identified. Chlorinate sanitary installation and provide certification. Re-commission fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, door access and provide certification. Test electrical installation and provide certification. Recommission heating and controls if required. Test drainage installation and demonstrate use, servicing and maintenance of new waste treatment plant. Stapleton Road - Disconnect existing electricity, water, telephone and drainage services, decant furniture, equipment and any other items identified and place in temporary storage for 1 week maximum. Disconnect existing solar panels and carefully remove and protect for relocation to new site. Disconnect 4No existing external condenser units and carefully remove and protect for relocation to new site. Separate 4 No existing portacabins for uplift and relocation to new site. Relocate existing 6m long container including
