***PRE MARKET ENGAGEMENT EXCERCISE *** ID 34752481 - DfE - CITB – Customer Information System Replacement. CITB NI relies heavily on the current CIS system for the efficient and effective administration of employer levies, grants and training course bookings. Following a high-level Business and User Requirements review followed by the compilation of a detailed Statement of Requirements document it was apparent that both user requirements and technology have changed considerably since the current system was initially developed. It is now essential that the current application is replaced with a new up-to-date version which meets current and anticipated future needs. In summary, CITB is aiming to procure a managed cloud-based solution which will deliver and future proof the current CIS functionality and additionally provide flexibility to exploit the use of new technology where this provides benefit to CITB NI’s business. The objectives of this exercise are to: • Gain initial supplier awareness, engagement and opinion, resulting in a confidence around viability of concept; • Gain insight to the market possibilities and potential innovative solutions; • Understand risks and issues not previously considered; • Inform the outline business case; • Inform the procurement strategy; and • prevent the department from advertising an unachievable project at Find a Tender (FTS) stage. **PLEASE NOTE: ALL COMPLETED QUESTIONNAIRES MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA THE MESSAGING FUNCTION on eTendersNI (under reference ID 3475481), BEFORE 3PM ON MONDAY 7 JUNE 2021**.
