Tender description

The installation, upgrade, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, fittings and plant in any or all of Kerry County Council's corporate facilities. Maintenance and repair work includes routine servicing and emergency repairs, which involves finding faults, replacing or repairing damaged parts, carrying out tests and ensuring that the system works safely, properly and as per the manufacturer's instructions. The successful Contractor must be a Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) with an Electrical Safety Supervisory Body (SSB) as appointed by the Commission of Energy Regulation (CER). The Registered Electrical Contractor’s Qualified Certifier must inspect and certify all works carried out under this contract. Average annual expenditure is estimated as €30,000 ex VAT.
