Newport Mind are seeking to improve the Financial Management Information (MI) produced for the Board of Directors. The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the impact and effectiveness of the existing MI and to look at the current financial systems. To evaluate the current processes and systems that support the MI and year end financial reporting. To recommend any improvements to the current systems with detailed analysis of why the improvements have been suggested. To assess the need of a new cash flow statement utilising the existing systems so it can be produced on a regular basis by the Finance Manager. To evaluate the forecasting process and suggest any recommendations to meet the needs of the Board of Directors. To evaluate the existing budgeting process with an extension to cover a 3-year period, meeting the needs of the Board of Directors To deliver improvement in the MI presentation and format.
