Supply, Delivery and Installation of Medical Technology Equipment to TU Dublin

Tender description

As part of the Med Tech & Pharma and Food & Drink stream of the CONVENE project TU Dublin developed a working group to develop an expenditure plan for workplace simulator equipment. The workgroup focussed on creating industry-ready infrastructure in the Bioeconomy, Brewing & Distilling, Medical Devices, Mobile Med Tech and Biopharma sectors as part of the model of Accredited Talent Development. Existing TU Dublin laboratory infrastructure will be utilised, and equipment has been identified that will support the development of industry-focussed laboratory provision, including a Bioeconomy lab, Medical Device Lab, Mobile Medical Technology Lab and a Microbrewery Lab along with other virtual reality & educational technology. These training spaces will be underpinned with a common platform of shared VR/AR technology to augment onsite training and education in physical laboratory spaces. The mobile medical technology & medical device groups have an overlap of instrumentation needs and have a identified 3 key items to be purchased for the workplace simulator spaces.
