Rural Grass Cutting Services (NY Highways)

Tender description

This Provision of Rural Grass Cutting 2021-2024 Contract is for Contractors to provide rural grass cutting services to NY Highways Limited, across the North Yorkshire County area. NY Highways Limited is seeking a single Contractor in each of the seven geographical lot areas. The seven lots correspond to the areas of North Yorkshire County Council’s seven Highway Area Offices, which in turn correspond with the boundaries of the seven District and Borough Councils in North Yorkshire. Lot 1: Richmondshire District Area This contract is to undertake annual programmed grass cutting across the Richmondshire District Area's rural road network. Rural roads are defined as those with a speed limit above 40mph. Lot 2: Hambleton District Area This contract is to undertake annual programmed grass cutting across the Hambleton District Area's rural road network. Rural roads are defined as those with a speed limit above 40mph. Lot 3: Scarborough District Area This contract is to undertake annual programmed grass cutting across the Scarborough District Area's rural road network. Rural roads are defined as those with a speed limit above 40mph. Lot 4: Ryedale District Area This contract is to undertake annual programmed grass cutting across the Ryedale District Area's rural road network. Rural roads are defined as those with a speed limit above 40mph. Lot 5: Craven District Area This contract is to undertake annual programmed grass cutting across the Craven District Area's rural road network. Rural roads are defined as those with a speed limit above 40mph. Lot 6: Harrogate District Area This contract is to undertake annual programmed grass cutting across the Harrogate District Area's rural road network. Rural roads are defined as those with a speed limit above 40mph. Lot 7: Selby District Area This contract is to undertake annual programmed grass cutting across the Selby District Area's rural road network. Rural roads are defined as those with a speed limit above 40mph.
