Tender description

The Office of Public Works (OPW) is acting on behalf of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), the State Laboratory and Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) to assist them in procuring a Facilities Management Company to provide Facilities Management Services at Backweston Campus, Celbridge, Co. Kildare, Ireland, Longtown Farm, Co. Kildare and Regional Laboratories. The Office of Public Works (OPW) will be the Contracting Authority. Backweston Campus comprises of the State Laboratory Building, Department of Agriculture, Food and The Marine Laboratories, Department of Agriculture, Food and The Marine Office Admin building and the Shared Facilities building. Forensic Science Ireland Laboratories is currently under construction at Backweston Campus and is due for completion in 2022. The Backweston Campus is a stand-alone campus comprising various facilities for the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, the State Laboratory and Forensic Science Ireland (FSI). The buildings currently located on the site are listed as follows:- The State Laboratory, The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Laboratories, The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine Administration Offices, Forensic Science Ireland (currently under construction, due for completion in 2022).
