Tender description

Please note that this is NOT A TENDER COMPETITION This is an invitation to our pre-market engagement exercise. The Northern Ireland Assembly Commission is currently preparing to tender for a supplier to replace our IPTV system. This will include the TV signal distribution, the associated equipment and licences, as well the installation and the maintenance of both. In order for us to prepare a business case for approval, the tender specification and tender strategy, we are currently undertaking a pre-market engagement (PME) exercise to see what the market has to offer in terms of solutions and estimated costs. We will also use the information to help us define the technical specification of a solution which attracts a suitable market but does not restrict competition. We are inviting suppliers with the expertise and experience to help us with this exercise. There is a questionnaire to download and complete. It will be returned via the messaging facility on the eTendersNI portal. There is also an information and guidance document to help suppliers gain an understanding of our current solution and the objectives of this project to renew the technology. We would normally invite suppliers into the building to review in more detail, but due to current COVID restrictions, this is not possible. We are however offering an opportunity for those interested in participating in this pre-market engagement exercise to attend a 1-hour MS Teams meeting with our Systems Analyst who will offer further detailed information about the current set-up and answer questions you may have to inform your response. This will be held on Friday 14th May at 2pm. If you are interested in attending this session, please confirm this via the eTendersNI messaging function as soon as possible and we can issue you with the invitation.
