Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Supply

Blackwood are looking to appoint two suppliers to supply personal protective equipment to care at home services, residential care homes and housing staff based across mainland Scotland for an initial three-year period . An optional extension of 12 months will be included within the contract – if utilised the 12 month extension will be priced on the basis of a CPI increase from tendered costs. This contract opportunity is non-exclusive and may be supplemented by arrangements with alternative suppliers from time to time. Whilst this opportunity does not guarantee any level of orders, indicative usage data has been provided at Appendix C for tenderer’s information. Blackwood intends to award contracts to the two highest ranking suppliers following completion of the price/quality evaluation detailed in paragraph 7. Once awarded suppliers will not be ranked and will be equally available for the placing of orders.
