The University of Limerick to National Technology Park Cycle Path Project Site Investigations

Tender description

The Site Investigation Works to be undertaken under this Contract shall identify the ground conditions pertinent to the outline design of the proposed cycle path (hereinafter called the “Works”), which shall be subsequently constructed under a separate Contract. The Site Investigation shall also identify and provide details on all services encountered. Details provided will include type of service, location of service, depth of service, direction of service, pipe/duct material, pipe/duct diameter as well as any other relevant information. The Works in this Contract shall include, but are not limited to: trial pits, cone penetration tests (CPT), borehole, shell and auger or rotary core, sampling, standard penetration test (SPT), plate testing, further in-situ testing and laboratory testing, interpretation of data/investigation, reporting, and preparation of drawings and presentation of data.
