NPL has seen significant growth in the data requirements for research, development and science projects being conducting. The network infrastructure has served us well. Some elements are now end of life or no longer provide us the bandwidth and performance to meet new and future requirements. New state of art facilities has recently been completed and these will require network infrastructure to be installed and commissioned. The site currently has a wireless infrastructure, it is however, over 5 years old with some coverage, bandwidth, and performance issues. NPL has undertaken a Network Refresh project that addresses these issues and provides a scalable, resilient, and robust network infrastructure which minimises risk of failure and loss of business productivity.
