Multi Supplier Framework Agreements For the Provision of Welding and Metal Fabrication Workshop Equipment to GRETB

Galway and Roscommon Education Training Board (GRETB) are seeking to establish three separate multi-party framework agreements for the provision of Welding and Metal Fabrication Workshop Equipment for use in GRETB Training Centre, Galway and at other locations as may be required for the lifetime of the framework. All equipment (the Goods) will be used in the GRETB Training Centre for training and assessment purposes. Welding machines required under Framework One will be used to train learners who are completing the Introduction to welding MMA (manual metal arc), MIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) & TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) Training Course which lasts 14-16 weeks. The machines will also be used to train learners who are undertaking the Intermediate Welding Course. This course will involve heavy plate welding and pipe welding. Welding machines are also required for the Metal Fabrication Class. Welding Workshop Equipment required for Framework Two will be used to train learners completing the intermediate welding course and will be used to train learners in a variety of welding areas. Equipment required under Framework Three will be used to train learners in all aspects of Metal Fabrication. Individual items of equipment will be purchased as required from successful framework members following a mini-competition. The quantities outlined in the RFT represent expected requirements over the term of the framework agreement. Tenderers can apply for one or more framework. Each framework agreement will be divided into Lots (each a “Lot”). Tenders can apply for one or more lots in each framework agreement. All equipment and quantities specified is subject to funding and the contracting authority does not commit to the purchase of any item.
