Tender description
Galphay Lane: Patching and resurfacing of the Galphay Lane carirageway with Close Graded Asphalt Concrete Surface Course AC10 Close Surf 70/100, dense asphalt concrete (AC20 HDM bin 40/60) binder course, and dense asphalt concrete (AC32 HDM base 40/60) base courseand including full reinstatement of the junction markings. Minor kerb/drainage works, renewal and resetting of gullies and covers. Norwood Lane: Patching and resurfacing of the Norwood Lane carirageway with Close Graded Asphalt Concrete AC10 close surf 70/100, and AC20 HDM 40/60 for the binder course including full reinstatement of the road markings. Timble: This scheme consists of 3 areas, each containing several different sections. Various sections has different design proposals and are as follows: 1. Askwith: - Section 1 - Askwith Lane: Minor resurfacing with deeper treatment at the edges; edge patching; - Section 2 - Moor Lane: Minor edge patching; 2. Fewston: - Section 1 - Swinsty Reservoir Picnic Area to Saint Lawrences Church: works to include resurfacing with deeper treatment on the edges or areas with deeper defects, road marking refreshment and siding of the carriageway; - Section 2 - Cobby Syke Road: Minor resurfacing with deeper treatment at the edges; edge patching; - Section 3 - Back Lane: resurfacing with deeper treatments at the edges; - Section 4 - Wydra Lane: resurfacing with deeper treatments at the edges or in areas of deeper defects; 3. Timble: - Section 1 - Sourby Farm to Sourby Lane: works to include resurfacing of full width and length of carriageway with the treatments up to binder or base layers; - Section 2 - Sourby Lane to Bramley Farm: works to include minor edge patching, road markings refreshment and reset of ironworks; - Section 3 - Gambling Well Quarry to Swinsty Reservoir Picnic Area: works to include minor edge patching with deeper treatments at discrete locations, road markings to be refreshed; - Section 4 - Bramley Farm to Swinsty Reservoir Picnic Area: works to include road resurfacing with deeper binder treatments in discrete areas of deeper defects, Type 1 material laid at the filed access, carriageway siding and earthwork reprofiling.
