Diversification of the UK Telecoms Supply Chain: Future RAN Technologies

Tender description

DCMS are developing our diversification strategy and, in particular, are considering investing in research and development and in building partnerships (between key players - operators, vendors, research institutions and other third parties) - to facilitate and promote the use of multiple vendors in a single network as standard across the industry and the shifting of the market towards open architectures such as OpenRAN. DCMS are seeking to appoint a Provider to identify and assess the impacts (benefits and costs) of our diversification policy options. The assessment will be used for producing BCRs (analysis/models) to support the economic business case for our proposals to achieve the diversification objectives and outcomes.
