Onward Group are planning to invite tenders from suitable contractors for the removal of all non-compliant claddings at The Quadrant apartment block, Salford. Particularly where insulated to alleviate fire safety risk.The Quadrant apartment block was built in 2008 and comprises of 2no. blocks. The recladding work is required to Block 1 only which exceeds 18 metres in height.An EWS1 report advises the replacement of- Trespa rain screening cladding HPL panels and associated insulation material- EPS polystyrene insulation used in the EWI render system- Treatment or replacement if timber balcony decks. All works are to be undertaken in line with the requirements of the Building Safety fund. Lot 1: The works will encompass the removal and replacement of - Trespa rainscreen cladding HPL panels and associated insulation material- EPS polystrene insulation in the EWI render system- Treatment or replacment of timber balcony decks.Start on site is by September 2021 with completion of works by July 2022All works are to be undertaken in accordance with the Building Safety Fund grant requirements.
