Notice of abandonment of procurement. In accordance with Regulation 55 (1) Public Contracts Regulations 2015 we advise you that we no longer intend to continue with this competitive procurement process commenced by the OJEU Notice dispatched on Friday 13.11.2020 under reference 2020/S 225-554956 for the above Contract for the following reasons. — Modification of the Council’s requirements, — to carry any award procedure to its conclusion would put at risk the ability to ensure the expenditure of public funds in a way which delivers value for money for avoidance of doubt Rochdale Borough Council will not be awarding any contracts under this tender procedure. The Council do, however, intend to commence a new procurement process for this contract and will publish the opportunity on Find a Tender and Contracts Finder shortly. Lot 1: Rochdale Borough Council is looking to appoint a contractor for the restoration of Rochdale Town Hall and the adjacent public realm to give the building a sustainable future.
