Outdoor Gym Refurbishment (Little Wormwood Scrubs)

Tender description

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are seeking proposals for the replacement of outdoor gym/fitness equipment located within Little Wormwood Scrubs (1 Dalgarno Gardens, London W10 5LL) A consultation was carried out in early 2021 to get a better understanding of the local community's view on what type of equipment should be implemented. The results of the consultation can be found in this ITT. These findings need to be incorporated into the type of outdoor gym equipment proposed, decisions on layout and any additional features. The council would like the proposal to include the supply and installation of the new gym/fitness equipment, the removal/disposal of the old equipment, along with additional safety features such as suitable flooring/matting. Where possible accessible items should be included in the proposal. Any additional added value, in terms of fitness focused educational content for users will be looked at favourably.
