Northfield Park Renovations and new equipment

Tender description

Blaby Parish Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and insured contractors to install new play equipment at Northfield Park, situated in the centre of the village development suitable for 5-12 years. Some maintenance is required to existing equipment, some existing equipment will be required to be relocated within the park. This contractor will be required to remove certain pieces of equipment that are no longer required. Additional information: The following equipment is requested for the play area any suggestions for better use of the space and better play value will be considered by the Council when considering and scoring the tenders: Description • Removal of existing 2 bay x 4 swings and replace with 2 bay x 4 swings • Removal 2 benches - replace with 1 x play equipment (possible sensory equipment) • 1 x zip wire activity required. • 1 x new play equipment (possible a slide to replace an existing slide) • Redesign concrete area 12 x 5 x 9 metres with a wow factor feature equipment - possible a pirate activity ship or two smaller activities • Small slide to be relocated within the park to the enclosed Children's play area. Surfacing  Wet pour surfacing under all new equipment Existing Equipment for removal and or disposal:  2 bay x 4 swings  2 x benches  Teen Shelter  Relocate small existing slide to enclosed play area Maintenance required. • Existing Multi Activity frame - rope fixing, side nettings require attention - repair or replace. • Side feet have corroded - repair or replace. ________________________________________ Applications should be made using the Tender Response Document attached to the Invitation to Tender.
