MARKET ENGAGEMENT - Minor Civils Framework in Salford

Salford City Council ('The Council') is considering options around the delivery of the following services; • Minor Civils £0 - £75k (direct award) and £75k - £500k (mini competition) • Specialist Surface Treatments • Vehicle Restraint Systems • Drainage • Structures and Bridges • Coring and Site Investigations • Landscape and Associated Works This is not a formal facet of a procurement process, it is purely investigatory in nature, although the outcome may be used to assist the Council in defining a specification and contract model for delivery of the highway services. Salford City Council currently spends around £50m for these services over four years. To support our considerations, it is the intention to hold some market engagement to review the current and future supply market strategies. The same information will be gathered from all organisations who wish to participate in this market engagement to assist the Council in this exercise.
