The Authority is re-tendering its requirements for its call handling service, the Authority is required to have resilience with the support of a commercial operator who can offer the necessary capacity, knowledge and skills to either work alongside the on duty emergency call handling control service or on their own if required. The requirement is only likely to be required in the event of:- • Natural Disaster • Terrorist Event • Pandemic Outbreak • Industrial Action • Another unforeseen similar event Contingency Fire Crews and related services.
