Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles in Carlisle

<p>Carlisle City Council is looking at options to support the roll out of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles and is interested in hearing from potential bidders. The project is in its early stages and we would be keen to hear from a range of suppliers and potential partners to support us on this journey. This will be an opportunity for you to showcase your products and services, outline your experiences and present how you would be able to work with Carlisle City Council on this initiative. Following this informal stage, it is expected that a formal competitive procurement exercise will follow later in 2021. Although, still to be confirmed, the project is likely to focus on two schemes: Scheme A: Off-street charging points for public / commercial use &bull; Supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of EV charging points in our city centre pay and display car parks and how this can be scaled up over time to meet increasing demand &bull; Development of an &lsquo;EV charging station&rsquo; at a location in Carlisle (site to be confirmed) Scheme B: Charging options for the Council&rsquo;s fleet of vehicles &bull; Supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of EV charging points to support the electrification of the Council&rsquo;s fleet at two locations We will be interested in hearing outline presentations from those suppliers selected to cover one or both of the schemes above. An outline brief will be sent to those invited. All presentations will be virtual (Microsoft Teams) towards the end of April/ early May (date TBC). The audience will be to a panel of City Council officers and Councillors. Please express your interest via ProContract attaching a brief overview of your business, no more than 2 x A4 sides, and state whether your presentation will cover one or both of the schemes.
