National Library of Scotland Facilities Management - Multi Lot Contract

Tender description

The National Library of Scotland "the Library" is planning a procurement exercise for the re-let of the recurring FM Hard Services Contract in 2021/22 . A previous PIN notice was published in December 2019 (2019/S 238 - 583838), however the procurement was subsequently delayed due to COVID 19 Lot 2: Specialist Services and Small Works Lot 2 Specialist Services and Small Works. Lot 2 specialist services comprise defined works covering a broad range and scale all, of which are currently procured separately and served primarily by SMEs. Lot 2 small works comprise general building fabric and services, maintenance and repairs. The Lot 2 contract will report through the Lot 1 contract. Additional information: Lot 2 will also include some traditional soft FM services i.e window cleaning and grass cutting services. Lot 1: Hard Services Lot 1 Hard Services Lot 1 will comprise all standard PPM works, reactive works and regular attendances. Lot 1 will assume the overall management role and direct point of contact for National Library of Scotland including the management of Lot 2. Lot 1 will be responsible for programme and logistical control of Lot 2 including the co-ordination and lead on any emergency works.
