Tender description
The project involves the removal of minor site fittings, disposal or recycle of materials and making good of surface penetrations to the existing car park surface to return this to its prior use. The works comprise, but are not limited to: - Disconnection, strip out and capping off services to the cabins, including electricity, water and drainage - Removal of temporary fencing line and post and making good to penetrations through existing surface - Removal of timber ramps, decking and canopies - Removal of timber posts and making good to penetrations through existing surface - Scrub out of foundation pad blocks and making good to existing hard standing surface - Removal of internal fittings to single storey cabin and strip out to return to previous use and condition - General site tidy and sweep and local making good to previous tarmac surfacing The cabins will be removed (by others) during the course of these works, so there will be a break in between the strip out of fences and services and the final making good works. Further details on this will be included in the final ITT pack. Procurement Process Following the successful completion of the Early Engagement Notice and expressions of interest being received it is anticipated that the tender process itself will then commence on 22nd March 2021. Interested contractors should express an interest to those listed in the contact details section, with a deadline for this being 17.00 on 17th March 2021. There will then be a 3-week tender and evaluation period before a selected contractor is chosen. The successful contractor will be notified and appointed under a Minor Works contract. It is then anticipated the works will commence in mid-May and complete by early June. The maximum anticipated cost of all the works is £50k. This early engagement notice will run to 17th March 2021. Interested contractors must register their interest via email to Jack Collins (jack.collins@arcadis.com) and Adam Bloomfield (adam.bloomfield@education.gov.uk) with a covering paragraph answering the following questions: 1. Provide details of your project pipeline for the next 12 months and confirm your capacity to deliver this project? 2. Briefly explain how you would resource this project
