Who Speclialist Work With The DataWorks team is made up of a number of engineers & architects covering the full spectrum of big data, cloud infrastructure, security architecture, and business analysis. You will also be expected to engage with other teams within the DWP: UCFS for systems integration Design Authority for design sign-off SRE for acceptance into service Stakeholder teams, e.g. data analysts & scientists 3rd party suppliers and auditors (e.g. IT Health Check teams) What Specialists Work On Data ingestion from Universal Credit Full Service (UCFS), and surfacing of data to users of DataWorks new AWS Data Platform Where the Work Takes Place DWP Offices - Quarry House, Leeds, LS27UA Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Flexible working, at the discretion of the supplier to deliver the service. Some travel to other sites may be required in line with DWP travel and expense policy. Work Location DWP Offices - Quarry House, Leeds, LS27UA Security Clearance DV Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Demonstrate extensive knowledge of working with the AWS cloud platform within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage any cloud infrastructure using terraform within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using Git and GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket within the last 2 years. Demonstrate knowledge of test and behaviour driven development (TDD and BDD) within the last 2 years. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using ConcourseCI to provide continuous integration and continuous deployment within the last 2 years. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS CloudWatch within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Simple Storage Service (S3) within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Key Management Service (KMS) within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2) within the last 2 years. Demonstrate knowledge of AWS networking concepts within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of devloping in Python within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using Docker within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of analysing and solving complex infrastructure & application issues within the last 2 years. Demonstrate having been involved with, and ideally having led an ITHC engagement within the last 2 years. Demonstrate a solid understanding of securely handling sensitive data within the last 2 years. Nice to Haves Demonstrate experience of big data; formats, manipulation/conversion, querying, tools within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of consuming Apache Kafka data feeds within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of devloping in Go, Java or Node.js within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Lambda within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Elastic MapReduce (EMR) within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Cloud Hardware Security Module (CloudHSM) within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Cognito within the last 2 years. Demonstrate experience of using AWS Workspaces within the last 2 years.
