Tender description

Southern Water will contract with a single service provider for the provision of insurance broking and associated services, which include risk management and claims assistance. This notice relates to the provision of services of an insurance broker to assist Southern Water Services Ltd (SWS) in acquiring and renewing the insurance programme (renewed annually on 31 March) and provide associated services to ensure that SWS gain maximum value and remain compliant with the insurance requirements of the CTA and SWS’s insurance programme. Additional services include (but not limited to): Risk management services to assist SWS in improving risk across the business to enable improved insurance cost and claim risk mitigation. Regular meetings with the broker and key underwriter(s) are expected to ensure a partnership relationship. Claims assistance and contractual insurance assistance on reviewing and investigating new insurance products plus any other potential ad hoc insurance queries. The envisaged term of the Insurance Broking and Associated Services contract is to run for an initial term of 5 years with options to extend for a further period, or periods, of up to 5 years (10 years total).
