Tender description

NIE Networks intends to appoint suitably qualified and experienced service provider for the provision of consultancy services for environmental matters associated with obtaining planning approval including compliance with planning conditions prior to design and construction of major transmission/distribution projects. This will be appointed to 2 separate lots, which include, the services below: Lot 1: Environmental Consultancy Services at Pre-construction Stage; Lot 2: Environmental Consultancy Services at Construction Stage. The purpose of this procurement exercise is to award a framework agreement for a period of 3 years with the option, exercisable exclusively by NIE Networks, to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years. Provision of professional services for major transmission and distribution projects at pre-construction stage. Provision of environmental professional services for major transmission and distribution projects at construction stage.
