Suicide Prevention Training (2019/20)

Tender description

Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting experienced suitable training providers to tender for the delivery of both 'LivingWorks ASIST' and 'LivingWorks SafeTALK' suicide prevention training. The provider will be required to hold LivingWorks accreditation and deliver the training to a range of audiences; such as local authority staff and voluntary and community organisations/ groups. The successful training provider will be required to deliver the following: o ASIST training (2 day) for up to 90 staff and volunteers/ community groups o SafeTALK training (half day) for up to 180 staff and volunteers/ community groups The main provider may sub-contract an element of the service provision to another or choose to deliver both in-house. They will need to be compliant with Dudley Council's Health and Safety Policy. The estimated contract value for this service is ?24,000. This is a guide to the budget and is not a guaranteed level of expenditure. The budget must include all training costs (i.e. trainer and course materials), reporting (i.e. course attendance lists, evaluation forms and a summary report at end of contract) and travel expenses. During the training Dudley Council will be responsible for: o Training room hire and refreshments o Delegate bookings
