Single Homelessness Supported Accomodation Service

Tender description

Halton Borough Council is looking to commission a short-term supported accommodation service for single homeless people. The service will provide supported accommodation for up to six months, during which time the Provider will support individuals to develop capacity, self-esteem and life skills, to break the cycle that has led to homelessness and enable people to move on into independent, settled accommodation. The service will be delivered from two sites across the borough, with accommodation at Brennan Lodge in Widnes and Halton Lodge in Runcorn. The Provider will also be responsible for the housing management function. Brennan Lodge provides 39 units of accommodation; 36 self-contained units and 3 units with shared kitchen facilities. Halton Lodge provides 66 units of accommodation across 2 wings; Cheshire wing provides 31 units for individuals in crisis with high support needs and Ford Wing provides 35 units for people with lesser support needs and may also be used as supported move-on accommodation for all short term supported accommodation in Halton.
