Tender description

TfL is seeking to award a contract for the provision of a web-based English language speaking and listening assessment test. The test will need to provide a robust and consistent way to assess that private hire drivers applicants meet the English language standard at level B1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or above. The test will have to be accessible to the applicants via a portal (hosted by TfL in-house) and the service provider will need to mark the speaking and listening element of the test. In addition the service provider will provide associated services including training, maintenance and support for appeals process.
