Tender description

Local authorities currently individually tender for the environmental risk assessment (ERA) of ‘closed landfill’ as required, in accordance with the EPA ‘Code of Practice on Environmental Risk Assessment for Unregulated Waste Disposal Sites (2007)’. The establishment of a number of regional framework agreements would streamline the procurement process and allow local authorities to procure consultants from the framework, in a more timely and efficient manner. Dublin City Council, on behalf of the Regional Waste Management Offices (RWMOs) are seeking the views of service providers on the establishment of a framework for the environmental risk assessment of local authority historic closed landfills. The purpose of this consultation is to assist the RWMOs in clarifying its requirements and evaluating potential options for the establishment of the above framework.
