Junior Project/Programme Planner

Working within the Portfolio Office, this role will act as one of the junior project/programme planners for major deliverables within the Department. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a set of planning services that include (but are not limited to): - support the maintenance of integrated end-2-end programme and project plans; - support senior planners to hold teams accountable for regular updates to project and programme plans; - support maintaining programme dependency and milestones tracking to feed reporting; - providing data to generate management information (MI) reports; - provide planning support across the department; - establish and maintain a standard set of planning and reporting tools and templates in line with programme governance needs; and, - champion the adoption of planning and reporting standards across the department Additional information: Please note that Defra procurement uses an E-tendering system for Procurement activities.
