The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) is the specialist provider of safe high-quality blood, tissues and cells products and services in Scotland. The key priority is to ensure that NHS Scotland has enough blood to meet the transfusion needs of patients in Scotland. The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) is the specialist provider of safe high-quality blood, tissues and cells products and services in Scotland. The key priority is to ensure that NHS Scotland has enough blood to meet the transfusion needs of patients in Scotland. The contract will last for a term of 7 years with possible break points at the end of years, 3, 4, 5 and 6. There will also be an optional annual extension after the 7 year term.
