Environmental Sustainability Performance Reporting Software

Tender description

A key tool for measuring environmental progress is the Council’s environmental performance monitoring system (EPMS). Since 2010 this system has tracked approx. 25 core indicators and 95 subsidiary indicators (for specific departments etc.), covering the council’s own performance as an organisation on energy, water, internal waste and recycling, greenhouse gas emissions, use of resources, biodiversity and environmental action. This system is currently based on Excel spreadsheets and semi-manual calculations. As part of its efforts to achieve its targets including net zero carbon, the Council now wishes to acquire a dedicated environmental sustainability performance monitoring and reporting software system on which to operate the EPMS.
