Description of procurement: Cornwall Adult Education receives an annual contract from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) for funding to run programmes. Once learners are enrolled additional local authority funding for high needs support can be allocated. Cornwall Council will be undertaking an open tender in the form of a framework agreement which has a maximum term of 4 years. While we cannot confirm the funding for 4 years, a framework does not guarantee business to a provider as each requirement will be operated through a call-off. The requirement will be subject to receiving annual funding. PIN Notice for a 4-year framework agreement This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is an indication of a potential future procurement activity and may be subject to change; makes no commitment to procure any services. It is not part of any pre-qualification/selection process. Cornwall Council Adult Education is seeking to procure Providers for the delivery of training and support to young people (16-19, and up to 25 for those with Education Health Care Plans). Adult Education programmes provide qualifications and learning, primarily for adults 19+ and primarily at the lower levels of skill, specialising in English and maths. It also holds a growing allocation for young people aged 16-18, which is the primary subject of this project. Adult Education works with training partners to deliver English, maths and vocational options (Programmes of Study, including Supported Internships).
