Tender description

The Council is seeking to revolutionise its WAN architecture by replacing its expensive leased circuits with modern fast point to point wireless networks. In particular, the Council believes the grouping of sites in some provincial towns will fit well with a Hub and Spoke network model, using a selection of strategically placed sites across the borough to host the Hub connections. The Council is seeking a partner who specialises in all Line of Sight radio-based WAN technologies that can meet the dynamic needs of the Council whilst reducing the level of support required in comparison to traditional leased line solutions.
