Tender description

The Industrial Energy Efficiency Accelerator (IEEA) aims to accelerate the commercialisation of industrial efficiency technology in the drive for Net Zero, part of the BEIS Net Zero Innovation Programme. It will support the development and on-site demonstration of innovative industrial efficiency technology with grant funding. BEIS seeks to procure a delivery partner for the programme. BEIS plans to procure a delivery partner for the IEEA. The delivery partner is expected to provide project management, develop the delivery plan including selection process, advertise the competition and engage with industry stakeholders, manage the delivery of the demonstration grant funded projects including engineering support, provide incubation services to the participating projects to accelerate commercialisation, gather information for evaluation, and develop materials to promote and disseminate information and technologies supported by the IEEA. Given the wide scope of skills required to deliver this programme, BEIS welcomes bids from consortiums. Indicative funding is secured for the duration of the contract term, but further spending reviews are due during the term, as such break clauses may be included in the final contract.
