The demand and necessity for a lone worker solution increased following SG guidance where only one emlpoyee (and not the previous two) can perform home visits, due to the COVID-19 situation and the need to follow physical distancing guidelines. Following an assessment of the various options available and on reviewing the pricing structures presented under the framework, it was determined that the best value option available to the Council would be to utilise the chosen solution and ensure that all lone workers in the Council were equipped with the same device
