Electrical installation work of heating and other electrical building-equipment

Tender description

Suffolk County Council is looking to procure a framework of service providers able to deliver retrofit to the domestic sector properties across the whole of Suffolk on behalf of the local authority members of the Suffolk Climate Change Partnership (SCCP). The framework will provide Suffolk local authorities the ability to promote access to a network of service providers able to manage the installation of high quality domestic energy efficiency measures, and access sector relevant funding or finance to benefit Suffolk households and reduce emissions. Works will be split into two lots. Service providers can be appointed to one or both of the different lots. The Lots are: 1) Insulation measures; 2) Heating and hot water systems. The service provider will provide some or all of the insulation measures included under the governments’ Green Deal as listed in: http://gdorb.decc.gov.uk/ With a particular focus on: • cavity wall insulation, • loft insulation, • external solid wall insulation, • internal solid wall insulation, • high efficiency glazing, • draught proofing, • floor insulation. The service provider will provide some or all of the heating and hot water measures included under the governments’ Green Deal as listed in: http://gdorb.decc.gov.uk/ With a particular focus on: • boiler replacements (gas, electric, ASHP), • central heating systems (gas, electric, ASHP), • heating controls, • solar hot water, • photovoltaic and battery storage linked to whole house retrofit
