1.1. Realising Scotland’s Potential in a Digital World set out our strategic ambitions to transform our services and deliver innovative public services. As we move forward to set our new strategic ambitions in the context of recovery, climate change and digital transformation we must have access to world leading research and the latest thinking and future trends to keep pace with the constantly evolving Digital Technologies industry. The aim of this programme of work is to engage and educate public sector leaders, and Digital Directorate and their stakeholders, in specific developments including key digital trends and technologies in areas such as platforms, cloud computing, artificial intelligence; addressing the climate change emergency; a matrix approach to transforming, the outside in capabilities, and the new concept of digital anthropology which should explore the human interaction with modern technology to improve public service delivery and inclusion.
