Tender description
The Council is looking to appoint an experienced leisure operator to manage Farnborough Leisure Centre and Aldershot Pools and Lido. The contract is anticipated to be a 10 + 5 years with some redevelopment work happening during this time. The Farnborough redevelopment, which is likely to be a new leisure centre is likely to be commencing shortly after the new contract begins. The Council is using competitive dialogue for the is procurement due to some complexities within the redevelopment of both Farnborough and Aldershot. The Council will be pre-qualifying bidders using the selection questionnaire within the documentation pack. Those that qualify will be invited to a bidders day on 10th March with dialogue beginning on 23rd March. It is anticipated that this will be a 2-stage dialogue in order to build on ideas raised during the first stage and speak with the appointed builder for Farnborough Leisure Centre.
