Provision of interventions as part of an Out of Court Disposal

Tender description

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) invites applications from suitably experienced organisations who wish to be considered for selection to tender for the Provision of interventions as part of an Out of Court Disposal. The delivery of a number of interventions that can be made available to offenders as part of an Out of Court Disposal (OoCD) across Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton. It is intended to provide police officers across the whole of Hampshire Police Force Area access to appropriate interventions in order to refer offenders of less harmful offences as part of an Out of Court Disposal approach. This will support police officers in directing offenders to a comprehensive range of services, provide officers with a quick and effective means of dealing with less harmful offences and allow officers more time on frontline duties and on tackling serious offending. The Contract will commence on 01 April 2020 and will be for a period of 3 years.
