Tender description
Please note this is not a tender exercise for which BMBC will be contracting for goods, services or works. Following the success of the first and second round Barnsley MBC (The Council) is launching a third Property Investment Fund. The Scheme will allow Developers with land suitable for development for commercial premises in the Borough to apply for assistance to bridge agreed viability gaps. The Council’s Property Investment Funds 1 and 2 have helped to facilitate 387,000 ft2 of commercial property development since 2014. Following on from this success, the Council is now launching a third phase of support, to stimulate speculative high quality industrial development within the borough, by working in partnership with developers to overcome demonstrable viability constraints.
