Offaly County Council Standby Emergency Generator Upgrade Contract

Tender description

The scope of work for the Áras an Chontae Generator Upgrade Works Project includes as follows:- a) Supply and delivery of a new standby generator set complete with integral base mounted fuel storage tank, generator circuit breaker and outdoor acoustic enclosure, offload cabling and automatic changeover board. b) Modification / upgrade of the existing Power Distribution System and ESB Metering incomer to provide full standby emergency power to Áras an Chontae. c) Alteration of sub mains cables from the main incomer to the new ATS Board d) Containment for new Cabling e) All associated alterations to the electrical services installations f) Testing, commissioning and certification of the upgraded generator and electrical installations g) All associated builders works and redecoration to match existing finishes h) Ongoing cleaning during the works and final contract clean on completion i) Maintenance of the new generator and modified electrical installations for the defects liability period (12 months)
