Tender description

East Renfrewshire Council is seeking and is currently inviting tenders, from suitably qualified companies for lead contractors to provide business gateway services for the East Renfrewshire Council area as detailed in the specification to cover 1.4.2020-31.3.2022. The appointed lead contractor will undertake the preparation and delivery of 3 business gateway core service areas: — start-up advisory service, — growth advisory service, and — business gateway local services. As part of any bid, the appointed lead contractor will also be required to provide a part-time Business Information Officer (BIO). Digital Boost funding has still to be confirmed by the Scottish Government we are expecting this to be advised around the 1.4.2020. It is unclear whether or not funding will be available after this date. Any bids must include the delivery of 4 workshops per quarter. A separate award will be made for the Digital Boost Workshops through this framework based on the pricing submitted within the offer page should the Scottish Government Funding become available. Any bids must include the delivery of 4 workshops per quarter. This will not be evaluated but for information only. Previous funding from the Scottish Government that may become available is up to a value of 15 000 pounds sterling for 4 workshops only per annum no guarantee of funding or uptake can be made. East Renfrewshire Council reserve the right to inflate this contract to 375 000 pounds sterling should the Digital Boost funding be made by Scottish Government for the 4 Workshops per annum. This will take into account the 24-month contract period and will also include the 12 month extension period, should the council wish to exercise the extension option available. This service will be offered to a sole supplier ranked No 1 after evaluation.
