This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise the market of our intention to establish a framework agreement for the provision of sub-contracting services. This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise the market of our intention to establish a framework agreement for the provision of sub-contracting services. The main anticipated user of the framework will be Scottish Borders Council (SBc Contracts) and Scottish Borders Housing Association will be a named participant. SBc Contracts are the significant trading organisation of Scottish Borders Council delivering the roads maintenance programme as well as construction of Capital investment works. SBc Contracts have become a well-recognised key player in the construction industry undertaking works in the public and Private sectors in southern and central Scotland and beyond. The framework agreement will have multi-value and multi-supplier lots, further detail will be provided within the tender documents. The proposed framework agreement will support and supplement in-house capital projects and the delivery of the roads maintenance programme on an as and when required basis, to meet the demands of work and to utilise specialist contractors.
