Fertility Consent System

Tender description

NSS National Services Scotland are setting up a framework agreement for a Fertility Consent System and services to provide support for Fertility Services throughout Scotland. Due to Covid 19 there is an urgent requirement for the system at this time. There is an urgent requirement for a Fertility IT System to support the work of the four Fertility Centres in Scotland. These are located in the University of Aberdeen, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, NHS Lothian and NHS Tayside. The system must be able to support the provision of NHS fertility services to ensure access to treatment is equitable throughout the country. The NHS Scotland document "Covid-19 and Fertility Treatment in Scotland, Plans for Restarting Treatment - A framework" explored modifications to practice to meet the principles within professional bodies and government guidance. The System must align and be compliant with the Regulations and guidance provided by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (www.hfea.gov.uk)
