Tender description

Within the next few months, DCC will be tendering for translation, interpreting and alternative formats. DCC are currently in the pre-procurement stage. In order to ensure DCC is at the forefront of the creation these services, DCC and its contracting partners wish to hold a pre-market engagement webinar on 9 December 2020. The event will provide an opportunity to bring together existing and potential providers, commissioners, and subject experts to explore what the new services should look like. The aim of the webinar is to help inform and shape the services specifications. Existing and potential providers who attend will: — hear directly from DCC commissioning leads, — listen and speak to local authority subject experts, — directly influence the services specifications. Your participation will be appreciated and the deadline for the return of the form will be no later than noon on 8 December 2020. Please note that this is not a call for competition. This pre-market engagement is carried out in line with OJEU regulation 40 (Preliminary market consultations). Participation in this market assessment will not include or preclude any organisation from participating in any future procurement exercise. Any responses you provide will not prejudice your involvement in any future procurement exercise. No information provided in your response will be used in any evaluation of any subsequent response to a procurement exercise. Any procurement of the supply and services by Devon County Council and its partner agencies will be carried out strictly in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Foreign language – telephone (FLP) Sensory and learning disability – Braille and Moon, audio, easy read, speech to text typists, lip speakers (SLD).
