Tender description

The University are seeking notes of interest for a cold spray system. The University are seeking notes of interest for a potential tender opportunity. 1) This potential tender is to create a high-performance cold spray system; 2) The integrator is expected to build the enclosure and fully integrate the technology as a turn key solution; 3) The cell should be resource efficient and have measures in place to reduce the carbon emission impact; 4) The integrator is expected to carry out a SAT and deliver the equipment to the AFRC/NMIS; 5) Cell is controlled by a computer and a common programming language (i.e. G/M codes); 6) Capable to deposit steels, Titanium and Aluminium; 7) Comply to all H&S regulations for all technologies (i.e. soundproof, LEV, etc.); 8) The Machine is capable to additive manufacture components; 9) The machine must be capable of heating the process gas to a minimum of 1000C; 10) The machine must be capable of processing 2 powders (multiple hoppers) at the same time; 11) The machine must be capable of handling high pressures to a minimum of 70 bar; 12) The cell and machine must be capable of handling components up to 2x2x2m; 13) The Cold Spray system must be located on a robotic system.
